An air-operated oil pump is a type of pump that is powered by compressed air and is used to transfer oil from one location to another. This pump is a double-acting pump, which makes it highly efficient and faster compared to single-acting pumps. This pump has a ratio of 5:1, that can transfer 5 gallons of oil for every 1 gallon of compressed air used.

It is designed specifically for use with a 16-gallon drum, making it ideal for medium to large-scale oil transfer needs. Additionally, it has a free-flow rate of 7.4 gallons per minute, ensuring a rapid transfer of oil with minimal downtime. .

These pumps are recommended for the use of transferring low to medium viscosity oil (SAE 15/240), and anti-freeze, for short through medium distances (492 – 787 ft). The delivery capacity of a pump varies according to applications and combinations, the pressure of air supplied, viscosity and temperature of the fluid, dimensions of delivery hose, dimensions of connections and the type of gun which is used. The operating pressure may vary between a minimum of 37 PSI and a maximum of 116 PSI. The double-acting air operated oil pump ensures the delivery of a continuous and constant flow, suitable for installations on distribution facilities.

We recommend using filtered and lubricated air to optimize the efficiency and the life of our air operated pumps.
